Oh my god!!! So I am the team Captain for the "Buckeye Diva's" (Hit the Road with the Buckeyes Challenge) it is a physical challenge designed around the 2009 OSU football season. Teams of five can “walk” the distance to the Big Ten away football games by tracking daily steps. The challenge is sponsored by Your Plan for Health for all faculty and staff. You can win some really great weekly prizes all while getting in shape!
Anyways, I have been trying run anywhere between 8-12 miles a day, and one of my teammates decided she wanted to have a 1 on 1 challenge. It was a simple competition, where we would try to get more miles than each other from Friday to Monday. It wasn't easy but... I managed to get 14.72 miles on Friday- 24.45 on Saturday- and 20.06 on Sunday! And I won!!! I was able to get 59.23 miles in three days :0) But unfortunately, I feel like I am unable to move LOL every muscle in my entire body aches. I hate to lose in anything, so to me it was all worth it!!!

  1. This sounds like such a great idea! Just by trying to take those extra steps every day can lead to a much healthier lifestyle. It also sounds like you have combined fitness with friendly competition with your friends. This is a great challenge... congratulations on your accomplishment and good luck with further competitions!
