I think adolescents tend to "run" from their problems, meaning, rather than deal with the issue at hand they would rather "deal with it later" or not deal with it at all. This can be bad for a number of reasons, such as, the stress of the situation or issue will only build up inside and start eating away at you, denial can set in and/or addiction's can form. When you think of all these things that can go wrong just by not communicating and staying withdrawn from the situation at hand, it almost seems kinda silly, doesn't it . Wouldn't you rather just handle the issue by talking it out, listening or by forgiving and forgetting?

  1. I agree with your opinion about adolescents running from their problems. It can be difficult for people to open up. It is easier in a way to hide from the issue, but it is going to make a person go crazy just like you said it will build up inside. The best way is definitely to talk it out and be listened to.
